Wal-Mart sued for disability discrimination; REMEMBER BUSINESS WHO DO NOT ADOPT AODA RISK BRAND DAMAGE

Home / accessibility / Wal-Mart sued for disability discrimination; REMEMBER BUSINESS WHO DO NOT ADOPT AODA RISK BRAND DAMAGE

Wal-Mart sued for disability discrimination Global Alliance on Accessible Technologies and Environments.

While we are on the topic of BRAND DAMAGE related to not accommodating people with disabilities (PwD) or aging workers, here is a law suit which will further damage the Wal-Mart brand.  The IASR in Ontario is about having policies, procedures, overarching strategic approaches to accommodating PwD and aging employees.  Not only are the policies missing in this case but all of the stores we have seen in Canada and parts of the US have no signage, wayfinding or CSR’s who can guide people with sensory disabilities through the store.  Optimal Performance

There is still time to sign up for our AODA IASR and Build Code Talk this Thursday March 21st at Herman Miller.  AODA@optimalperformance.ca
