Here is the diagram to show employees who keep insisting on having high back chairs or chairs with head rests why Optimal Performance does not recommend these. This design of chair should be reserved for employees with neurological conditions which impact their ability to hold their heads up for periods of time. Otherwise chairs with backrests which match the height of the scapulae (shoulder blades) are the correct design and fit for employees. This is based on the science called BIOMECHANICS.
